When I was a high school senior I applied to 7 colleges and got into all of them and then had to make the choice of which one to go to. I was really unsure of where to go but then I decided that I would go to an all girls college and avoid any distractions. I say that you should apply to as many as you find that meet what you want in a school and then go from the letters to decide what to do.

There were several colleges that I would like to have attended. I applied to as many as I could just incase I did not get accepted into the college of my choice. I didn’t get accepted into all of them, but I had a great response from majority of the ones I applied to.

I plan to apply to at least 10 colleges this year. Do you think that is too many? Not enough? I have good grades and I have great SAT scores so I think that I will not have a problem getting into at least one of my top 3 but just incase I would like some insurance.

I applied to 3 schools in my senior year. I had forever dreamed of going to an ivy league school and that was all I would accept, so I applied to Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. I only got accepted to Princeton but that is where I had my fingers crossed to go anyway since it was in the state the I grew up in.

I have always been told to apply to as many schools as you want to go to even if they are not your first choice. This will help increase your chances just incase you don't get into your dream school.

I applied to about a dozen schools and only half of them accepted me. I had a very good GPA and I was very activley involved at school and in the community, but when I did the interviews with the schools I was very nervous, so they did not go as well as they could have.
